Go To Midtown

There is no charge for any of the entertaining and educational walks around the London square mile. Most guided walks take around 50 minutes and set off from outside Holborn Underground. These free guided walking tours explore the London districts of Bloomsbury, Holborn & St Giles and run at lunchtime (1pm-2pm). They're led by Aly Mir, a professional guide and history graduate whose knowledge of the area is unparalleled.

Occupy London Tours is a free tour company, run by volunteers, who want to throw open the secretive world of finance and politics for all to see.

The tours are designed to be informative, entertaining and - most importantly - accessible. Their aim to is to enable people from London, the UK and all over the world to engage with the financial system and its impact on their lives.

The tours offer a critique of the status quo without being politically affiliated. There are currently three tours, each monthly, for free.

Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park

Tower Hamlets Cemetery is located in the East End of London. The cemetery opened in 1841 and closed for burials in 1966. It is now a nature reserve, and other land has been added to the park, including "Scrapyard Meadow". Today it is 33 acres of "managed" mature, broadleaved woodland and meadow. It is also a educational resource to 7000+ school children every academic year who use the Park as an outdoor classroom.

Take a guided walk of the park learning all about the burials and/or natural history. Walks are Monthly on the third Sunday
