First Thursdays Bus Tour
Each month join leading curators, writers, academics and artists on a guided bus tour visiting a selection of First Thursdays galleries. Meeting at the Whitechapel Gallery at 6.45pm, the bus will leave Whitechapel Gallery at 7pm sharp and return at 9pm.
Booking opens on the Friday before First Thursdays. A "book now" button will appear in the description of that month's event. Places are decided by lottery and you will be emailed the day before First Thursdays if you are successful.
Tour times: First Thursday of every month 7-9pm
The British Museum Tour
There are 8 million objects in the British Museums collection. These free guided tours and talks give an indepth, behind the scenes look at different cultures throughout the day. The tours are 30-40 minutes each, introducing different areas of the Museum's collection and are led by volunteer guides.

Central Hall Westminster Tour
Central Hall serves both as a Methodist Church and Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster and welcomes visitors daily, inviting them to view the magnificent Great Hall.
If you would like a tour of the building please ask a member of staff at the Visitor Services reception desk in the main entrance area. Tours of the building are free and available seven days a week. There is no need to book tours unless you are bringing a large group or have any special requirements.

Somerset House Guided Tours
In approximately 45 minutes, you'll discover evidence of Tudor intrigue and Georgian Enlightenment, scientific curiosity and naval power, extravagant entertainments and 'the King's Shilling', as you are lead from the airy lightwells of graceful staircases to the atmospheric Deadhouse.
Collect your free tickets from the Information Desk in the Seamen's Hall, South Building. Tickets available from 10.30am. Be sure to come early to avoid disappointment as these tours are extremely popular. The tours are designed for individuals and small groups and tickets will be limited to a maximum of six per person. Larger groups should enquire about private guided tours.

The London Library

The London Library hosts free guided tours on Monday evenings offering visitors the opportunity to visit this historic literary oasis in the heart of the capital. There's no fear of getting lost as their friendly staff will guide you around the mind-boggling 1 million volumes on 15 miles of shelving. There's no better way to beat the Monday blues!
The tour encompasses 45 minutes of walking up and down many flights of stairs, and due to the nature of the building they are unable to offer lift access to all areas. The tour therefore may not be suitable if you have mobility problems - please inform them when you book and they will do their best to accommodate you.

The Science Museum Tour
Join one of the Science Museums guides and find out some fascinating facts and stories behind the Museum's amazing objects. Tours are available most days, please ask staff to confirm availability.
Tour times: Most days of the week, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm
The Royal College of Physicians
Take a tour of the RCP in Regent's Park to find out more about the history of medicine, their fascinating collections, acclaimed Grade I listed building and their medicinal garden.
Just turn up at 2pm on the first Friday of every month for a free 30 minute guided tour by RCP museum staff.
Please report to reception on arrival.

Tate Modern Tour
The Tate Moderns art gallery tour focuses on highlights from different areas of the collection displays, chosen by expert guides. These tours are designed for individuals and small groups and last 45 minutes. They are Free and there is no booking required. If you are a group of over 10 people, please register your visit and book a tour separately.
Tour times: Monday to Sunday, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. The gallery is closed on 24, 25, 26 December. There are no tours on New Year's Day.

The Museum of the Order of St John
Guided tours last 80 minutes and include the historic rooms at St Johnís Gate and the Priory Church and Crypt across the road.
All tours start from the Museum reception and can take a maximum of 15 visitors at a time with no booking required. Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Tour times: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. at 11.00am and 2.30pm. Throughout August and September an additional public tour runs on Sundays at 2.00pm.
