The Open House London
Open House London is the world's largest architecture festival, giving free public access to 800+ buildings, walks, talks and tours over one weekend in September each year.
The initiative is a simple but powerful concept: hundreds of great buildings of all types and periods opened up their doors to all, completely for free. It is a truly city-wide celebration of the buildings, places and neighbourhoods where we live, work and play, and a quarter of a million people take the opportunity to get out and get under the skin of London's amazing architecture.
By providing free and open access to 250,000 accross 30 boroughs to more than 800 outstanding examples of historic and contemporary buildings, on-site projects and public spaces, it remainds the most powerful medium for engaging everyone in a better appreciation of their city.
